This is the perfect motel. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated and very clean. My first thoughts as we checked in and unloaded was that the owners and staff here know and live Col. 3:33! We had no problems with our 70 lb pit bull and there are spacious grounds on which to walk your pooch. We like visiting the Amana Colonies and this will be our place to stay from now on.

The rooms are spacious, well appointed, and very clean. Service was excellent. The hotel is undergoing renovation, so the pool wasn’t open. It looks a little rough on the outside—there’s wind damage on some of the siding, but it’s the inside that counts and that is excellent. We had no issues with our 70 lb pit bull. They gave us a ground floor room near an exit. We had a good two night stay. I recommend this hotel!

Unremarkable hotel. Bored, aloof staff. Inconvenience of being placed in an upstairs room for two nights with no ramp or elevator. Wouldn’t choose again.

The best part of Motel 6 is that they’re *so* pet friendly. Other than that, it’s just a flop for the night.
