Fantastic Sunday Brunch
Battery Park Book Exchange & Champagne BarWe enjoyed a beautiful Sunday Brunch outside with our dog. Everyone was very friendly to our dog and he even got a treat. Fantastic bookshop and the food and cocktails were great.
Great Location
Hyatt House Atlanta DowntownVery dog friendly hotel. They keep packets of dog bones on the reception counter and there is a doggy relief station directly across the road from the hotel with bags. The location is in perfect walking distance to the aquarium, Olympic Park, Coke Museum, Civil Rights Museum and the stadiums. Great hotel.
Excellent food and super dog-friendly.
Moon River Brewing CompanyWe had a wonderful meal in the beer garden and our dog was warmly welcomed and immediately given a big bowl of water. Lots of excellent vegetarian options too.
Great food, service and dog-friendly patio
Six Pence PubThe food was really good with lots of vegetarian options. Our dog was welcomed and sat very happily with us at the outdoor table.
Fantastic Tour
Haunted Savannah ToursMy family of four and our pup all went on the ghost tour and had a great time. Greg was an excellent guide and did a wonderful job telling ghost stories with the perfect blend of humor, history and spookiness! I love the fact that he showed photos at each stop on the tour too. The tour is dog-friendly and Greg was very welcoming of our pup. A superb tour - definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Savannah.
Fantastic Dolphin Tour
Captain Derek's Dolphin AdventureWe did a private tour with my family and our dog and had an amazing time! We saw tons of dolphins and they came up very close to the boat. We also saw Pulaski Fort from the coast to and learned a lot about the history. The first mate (Connor) did a wonderful job of both entertaining and educating and keeping everyone engaged. My teenage sons loved this tour. It was our dog's first boat ride and he got so much love and attention that he quickly settled down and enjoyed the ride. I think the extra cost was well worth it for the private tour and having the whole boat to ourselves.
Great tour!
Oliver Bentleys Historic Dog Walk TourMy family of four and our dog had such a wonderful time on this tour! The tour guide was excellent and we all learned so much about Savannah. Even my teenage boys loved this. The dogs all got along great and it was a really fun tour.
Very disappointing for a Kimpton Hotel
Kimpton Brice Hotel an IHG HotelWe love staying at Kimpton's because they are so dog friendly, but this hotel was really disappointing. We were shocked to find that the room hadn't been cleaned properly and was really noticeably dirty - it was awful. The staff were extremely apologetic about the state of the room and moved our room to the second floor and made sure it was clean. The air-conditioning is unable to go below 71 degrees in any of the rooms and there was a lot of mold on the windows but at least it was behind perspex. The hotel overall is just old and very dated and not what you would expect from a Kimpton. The location is great and the staff are very friendly. No dog amenities, treats etc were offered as they have been in all the other Kimptons we have stayed at. Overall, I wouldn't stay here again.
The most pet-friendly place we have ever stayed!!
Kimpton Hotel Arras an IHG HotelWe travel a great deal with our dog and this was by far the most pet-friendly place we have ever stayed. Our dog even received a gift bag with treats and a tennis ball when we arrived. Everyone greeted him with treats every time they saw him. The hotel is perfectly situated near lots of restaurants and there is a park directly opposite the hotel. Your dog is even allowed to sit with you for happy hour inside the lobby. Fantastic hotel!!
Great Beach in Winter Too
Myrtle Beach Public BeachesWe went for a weekend break in February and it was wonderful. Our dog and kids all had a great time at the beach playing and even though it was chilly at night, the days were gorgeous. People were very friendly and welcoming and we met many dogs during our time at the beach. I highly recommend going in winter too for a weekend break. Dogs need to be on a leash and are allowed at any time on the beach during winter.
Great Oceanfront Hotel
Residence Inn by Marriott Myrtle Beach OceanfrontWe loved our stay at the Residence Inn. It is in a great location, close enough to everything but still quiet, and with private entrance to the beach. Our room had a large oceanfront balcony that our dog loved. There is a pet relief station right on the hotel grounds. Everyone was very welcoming of our dog and super friendly staff. Excellent breakfast each morning included in price.
Fantastic Park
Charles Towne LandingOur teens and dog loved this park. There is plenty to see and do and the trails are beautiful. The only place our dog couldn’t go was inside the zoo but they have chairs and swings just outside the entrance to the small zoo, so my husband waited with our dog while the kids visited the animals and it worked great. The Avenue of Oaks is stunning.
Beautiful Gardens
White Point GardenVery friendly and responsible dog owners at the park. We kept our dog on a leash because it’s not fenced but he had a great time with the other dogs.
Fantastic Hotel, Very Dog-Friendly
Residence Inn Charleston RiverviewWe stayed 3 nights at the hotel and everyone was very welcoming to our dog. The location is excellent and very close to everything. There is a large pet-relief station right next to the hotel and they provide bags as well. We had a 2 bedroom suite which worked very well for us and our two teens, as well as our pooch. They provide a very good hot buffet breakfast every morning and you can leave your dog in the hotel room unattended which was great for going out to dinner. The room was very quiet and very clean. If you let the housekeeping staff know that you will be out for the day with your dog, they will come in and clean the room. Our room was cleaned every day we were there and all we had to do is let the staff know as we were leaving. Excellent hotel - would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful and Very Dog-Friendly
Magnolia Plantation & GardensMy family of four had a fantastic time at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens. They are incredibly dog-friendly and our dog was able to go on the nature tram tour which he loved. The only places he couldn't go were the house and petting zoo but we were more interested in the other tours and gardens, so it worked out great. Very friendly staff. If you keep your receipt, you can return to the gardens again free of charge within one week. We also bought canned foods which they exchanged for one admission which was great! Fantastic place!
Fantastic Dog Friendly Ghost Tour
Old Charleston Ghost ToursThis is a fabulous walking tour with great ghost stories. Mike does a wonderful job and his tours are very dog-friendly. Our dog loved the walk and our family loved the stories and ghost photos.
Fantastic dog Friendly Restaurant
Eli's TableThe best dog-friendly restaurant if the US!! It was also by far one of the best meals we’ve had! The food and service were outstanding. Three of our party are vegetarian and the vegetarian options were fantastic. We also had our dog with us, so we sat on the patio which was beautiful. It was a very mild January evening but they had heaters outside too. They were AMAZING with our dog and even bought him lots of bacon and a fresh bowl of water. One of the best restaurants we’ve had the pleasure to dine in!
