Easy check in. The dog policy on the hotel’s site doesn’t match BringFido. The front desk confirmed they would allow us to have 2 dogs over 50 lbs in one room. The pet fee is more than the room charge. Check in was easy, the front desk gave some love to the boys and offered treats. There is, as of 6/27/21, a big mowed grassy area to the side of the hotel that gave us enough room to let the boys run off some energy. If you’re staying multiple nights, the pet fee isn’t so bad.

We found this park by accident when stopping for gas. The park was large, well maintained, and free. There were also three or four well supplied waste stations inside the park and a concrete dog bowl/water fountain. Our two GSDs loved stretching their legs here. We are planning to seek this park out again on our next road trip to Chicago.
