Good location
1863 Inn of GettysburgPretty standard basic hotel experience. Convenient, comfortable, no frills. Breakfast had a nice assortment.
Perfect post hike vineyard!
DuCard VineyardsWonderfully set in the foothills of Shenandoah, this vineyard is close to two of the best hikes in Virginia (Old Rag and White Oak Canyon Falls) and best of all, dogs are welcome inside the tasting room. They brought my pup water and myself a flight of wine! And, for the record, their wine is exceptional so it’s not even a compromise on location to accommodate your best furry friend!
Limited to outside space now
Three Notch'd Brewing Company - RVA Collab HouseSince they started serving food, dogs can’t come inside anymore, however they are still welcome at the picnic tables outside.
Dogs are fully welcome, inside and out
Buskey CiderGreat spot to have a drink, play some games, and hang with your dog! They are welcome inside as well as on their back patio.
Solid dog friendly brewery!
HardywoodThey have treats, water, and plenty of space outside. Dogs have a regular presence. I take a bone off because they aren’t allowed inside (they make their own food so it’s against code)
Good Food, Heated Covered Patio
The Asylumthey have a nicely spaced outdoor patio that’s covered and heated. There’s also a more open air area if you’re inclined and the weather is nice. The food was also delicious, so it was a win win!
