This is a lovely place to enjoy some nature time with your pup. There are several trails with various levels of difficulty. We enjoyed the Bass Bight trail which is appropriately rated as easy and is .8 miles long (in and back). The trail is rock and gravel, some areas had larger rock cover which gave my dog a bit of difficulty but could have been avoided. There’s a day fee of $5, and bathrooms are available at the parking area. Be sure to note that there are two separate entrances to the park. This review refers to a visit made via the Hollingsworth Road access.

TBH, I was delighted with most everything about this property. My room was clean and well-appointed. The dog area was small but wholly adequate. The welcome station for pups was cute. Breakfast was substantial, with hot and cold items. The bed was super cozy. My only complaint was that the water in the shower was only lukewarm. During our two-day stay, I was never able to get adequately warm/hot water. I would probably stay here again, but would ask to check the shower before finalizing my checkin.
