The Best Rescue

Holy cow, where to even start! The whole team, volunteers included, are top notch! They do such a great job of learning each rescue and work really hard to get each individual pet in the right home. They’re thorough and knowledgeable. They care so much about the pets as well as the families the pets go to. It’s the cleanest pet building I have ever been in! You can have peace of mind knowing your future fur baby came to you through Mostly Mutts.

So Happy We Found Them!

me and my dog have been seeing GVR for about a year. We do water treadmill, in home PT, and acupuncture. It’s truly made a difference in the quality of my dog’s life (and mine!) Each member of the team deeply cares about your pet and it shows.

Great Shop!

Small but mighty! They carry lots of specialty diet foods & treats, which is great for my super sensitive boy. We love the seasonal cookies, they’re super fun and make amazing gifts! Plus, the crew is so welcoming and accommodating. They make your dog feel special, which goes a long way w me haha!

Use w Caution

We visit this park less and less as I feel it’s become less safe. I have seen several fights, and what’s worse is the humans don’t know what to do when it happens. I consistently see concerning and aggressive behaviors which are passionately dismissed by owners. There is more shade and seating than in the past, but there are simply better dog parks to visit.

Our Fave Dog Park

I like this park, though it is not perfect and without risk. It’s pretty large (for the large dog area). Lots of seating options, plenty of shade. I love the trail around the park. Lots of parking. One of my dogs is shy, and he does well with the size of the park as well as the trees breaking up sight lines. Many, many, many times I have visited and I see two main things: 1) lots of owners not recognizing concerning and aggressive behaviors, as well as passionately disagreeing with you that a particular dog is actively being aggressive. 2) SO MANY Karens. Crummy attitudes about the tiniest of things (usually while blatantly grudging with you that their dog is “playing” and not being aggressive.) STILL, I try to visit on off peak times so my dogs can enjoy.

Fast & Friendly!

Me and my dogs are regulars here. This location is consistently super fast, which we appreciate given all the drool lol. My orders are always spot on, and taste delicious every time. Always a plus when you say hi to the dogs like they do.

Better Than No Beach

We drove all the way to east beach to play in the sand. The strict leash rule wasn’t very fun for me or my dogs. They love to run in the sand. Plus, there was a wedding on the beach (their adorable dog was in it). We ended up leaving nearly right away as I didn’t want barking to disrupt their ceremony. All that said, we were happy to go to a beach at all.

Literally Top Dog

I've Shopped here for years and than smiling faces and knowledgeable people willing to help and lavish your pups. My dogs are always so excited to shop the store, and the team never fails to make them feel like rock stars. I love the assortment of everything, from raw diets to unique gifts to special birthday (/gotcha day) finds. Should you ever find yourself puzzled, the team is super friendly and approachable, and their insights will help you find your way. 20 out of 5 stars!

Cute Little Walk!

There are wide paved walkways. Parts of the walkways are in disrepair, but they are marked for caution. There are sandy unpaved offshoots, though in my opinion they are not dog appropriate as the park is a habitat for gopher turtles and other specialized wildlife. These sandy trails are not marked. There are trees, palms, ponds, as well as a popular tennis court area. It’s a great little place for an easy stroll through a little bit of nature. There are receptacles for dog waste, though they are few and far between. You may want to consider bringing something to manage waste until you reach a receptacle.

Incredible Fun!

Me and my two dogs (1 big, 1 little) stopped for what we thought was going to be a quick blow off steam session before heading to a dog friendly trail elsewhere. But the dogs had so much fun we stayed for hours. Whatever your preferred terrain is, grass, hills, dirt, etc, there’s a trail for you and your pup. Not every dog we encountered loved attention, but the few who didn’t prefer interactions had excellent communicators for parents and were completely respectful. If your dog isn’t great at recall, it may be safer to consider another off leash area. We had so much fun we had to find a dog wash haha!

Lifesaver

Me and my two dogs had such a great time at the park we ended up seeking out the nearest dog wash. Hollywood Feed did not disappoint. The self dog wash was clean and stocked. The employees were helpful and sincere. It never hurts to dote on my dogs, it always makes them feel like celebrities, and the team delivered. Great selection of whatever you’re looking for, even my two with crazy dietary restrictions. Highly recommend!

Great for Dogs!

We stayed with our two dogs (1 little, 1 big) for an overnight and the verdict is in, the dogs loved it! Employees were friendly and welcoming, even to the pups. Rooms were adequate and crystal clean, premises was clean and tidy. Great communication regarding the fact we had dogs with us. Right next to Woofstock Park and adjoining trails, and most importantly, walking distance to Starbucks for a pup cup. We would love to stay again!
