Noche and I did Overlook to Round Top Loop Trail. We took the left trail at the bathrooms. We were there on a Monday at 11am. Encountered 1 dog walker with five dogs, and only three other people walking their dogs.

Nice half way point for us going to Kirkwood. Bathrooms and water fountain. Picnic tables for the humans to eat lunch while the dog got to release energy. Lots of parking, good shade.

Even on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon we encountered 4 people on the trail. Dogs can be off leash until you run into cows grazing, then they must be leashed. If you go after a heavy rain - wear hiking boots. It's been 5 days since the last rain and parts of the Blue Oak trail were really muddy.

The area is actually on Raccoon Street not Coon. There is a small parking area - $5 to park in winter. It's a gorgeous spot and if you are in the area stop by. Nice walking path along beach. Dogs are not allowed on the sandy area. We tossed a toy in the water in the rocky area for a while. If the area was bigger I'd give it 5 stars, but it's too small.

Playing fetch with our dog under these gorgeous trees was amazing. Nice hills so Noche got lots of exercise running up and down, and there are some flat areas so she could reach top speed. There are lots of roads and parking lots closed, use Lower Woodland Park Ballfields as a GPS guide it will take you to an open lot. Just walk to the right of the ball fields and you'll see a paved road that will lead you to the dog park.

Tried to go there today - 1/4/21 - there is a sign on the gate saying dog park closed. No other info as to why or when it will reopen.

Nice shady, flat park, plenty of room to chuck a ball. Quite a few people living around the park. Just a heads up to keep your belongings safe.

We stopped here on our way to Seattle from Oakland. Great spot to let the dog burn off some energy after being in the car for a few hours. Easy to find, large enough that we were able to chuck the ball.

Noche & I stopped by this park after dropping my phone off for repair nearby. It's got a great walking path around the park that you can use while your pup plays. Shaded spots to stand in, nice breeze coming off the lake. People were very friendly. Didn't notice a smell since I had my mask on.
