Very accommodating and dog friendly
Shasta InnWe arrived super late but the Shasta Inn turned the lights on for us. Very easy check-in/out. Super dog friendly, nice accommodations in a cute mountain town. We would definitely visit again!
Great beach!
Kiva BeachThis fairly narrow but beautiful lake side beach is gorgeous! The day we visited, the parking lot was closed so we found parking on the road and walked the half mile (or so) in but I am glad because otherwise it would have been too crowded and no one seemed to obey the leash laws here, this is the main reason I cannot give 5 bones.
Good food and service
California BurgerWe stopped for lunch here during Spring Break so it was quite busy. We able to get a dog friendly table right away, our server was very attentive even though the restaurant quickly got full with a line of people waiting. Food was served hot and was very good. Would definitely recommend!!
Good food and prices
Izzy's Burger SpaGreat little spot for very fresh burgers with lots of dog friendly tables outside. Prices are very reasonable and service was fast and friendly.
Dog friendly is only positive thing I have to say
Shilo Inn Suites Hotel - Klamath FallsIn re-reading the reviews, I am so confused, did I stay at a different hotel??? Yes, SUPER DOG FRIENDLY! Great! However, this is supposed to be a 100% non-smoking hotel and our hallway smelled like an old ashtray and then as the trip progressed, our bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke at times. There were several loud people a floor above us that woke up loudly at 4am and stomped about. The cleaning lady came into our room, unannounced on one occasion, startling all of us (dog included). She apologized but it was odd. We were given only two towels, though I booked a room for three adults and two nights, when asking for an extra of anything the same cleaning lady was very rude and told me I needed to go the front desk. When I nicely explained the front desk directed me to her (she was in the hallway cleaning other rooms) and I heard the FD walkie talkie her, she was very defensive and said that no such thing happened. Sorry for the long post but we will be visiting Klamath Falls again AND will NOT be coming back here!!!
Small, rundown and noisy
Hotel BecketHotel's plus - VERY dog friendly, no question about that.
Hotel's minuses - 1) VERY noisy, we checked in on a Saturday night and ALL night there were people coming in and out of the building, slamming doors each time. 2) rooms look much nicer online than the actually are. I chose the Tahoe Blue building thinking they were a bit nice but the room was just tired, plus booking for 3 adults and a dog, the room had just one very small table (2x2) and only two chairs. No real closet, just a small standing armoire. TV was big but the plugs were a bit outdated and it kept unplugging.
