We were in the Lake Tahoe for the first time on a 3 week+ trip with our well-behaved dog Nelly and saw the good reviews on Bring Fido went to dinner here. Great move and great space for pooches.

We were passing through South Lake Tahoe on a 3 week + cross country trip. We knew very little about the area and looming for place to have a drink with our dog and view the lake. The Idle Hour was perfect and very welcoming to our woofer Nelly. They even brought her a bowl of water and gave us a wonderful seat to view the lake. Nelly loves it. And the appetizers were excellent. Great place!!
