Our family is the proud new owner of Bruce or "The Bruce". A Yellow Lab/English Setter/German Shorthair Pointer mix. We are an active family, and now want to embark of new adventures that include our canine companion.

Nice outdoor seating..

Boulder View Tavern

with a gorgeous view of the lake. Bruce was relaxing until he saw some ducks lol but staff wasnt bothered by his barking. Out server Jack was so friendly. I took one bone away only bc the food was great. Wasn't TERRIBLE but not great either. Although the crabcake was tasty

Dogs first vacation...

Best Western Inn at Blakeslee Pocono

was a success thanks to this place. Upon checking in the lady at the front desk was very polite. None of the staff seemed bothered at all by my having q pet. The grassy area is really nice and spacious. I wish it were fenced in but it was large enough from Bruce to roam and run around. I like that we were on the first floor there was a side door that led straight to the dog walking area. It was a really nice stay, I would absolutely return.

Awesome Dog Park

Dog Park at Schuylkill River Park

Great Location right on the river. Tennis balls swimming pools and drinking water provided. And I loved that the park was split in two areas giving smaller dogs a space away from the bigger dogs. Made it easier to introduce my puppy to the dog park. All in all great first dog park experience and we will be back!
