Ok Dog Park
Dog Park at Keizer Rapids Parkwe came to this dog park as a passing through but this was super far off the highway and really out of the way. there was hardly any shade coverage. we got there and went to the big dog side and a pitbull walked in right after us. the dog was aggressive the moment it got in literally attacked a dog as it was walking in so i avoided being anywhere near the dog. then about 10 minutes later the dog attacked again and more viciously. we left right after that. the owner could not control her dog. so for me this was not worth it. sadly.
Prettiest Dog Park Yet
Sutherlin Dog Parkwe drove through here and stopped at this dog park. OMG the views from the park and the fact that you’re in a forest is amazing. only downside is foxtails EVERYWHERE on the big dog side. not so many on the small dog side. we were there during a quiet time. only two other owners there. but the park is beautiful and nice. i sat in the car searching through Baileys fur to get any foxtails out. i hope i got them all!
Shady Park
Dog Park at Hawthorne Parkthis dog park is pretty shady. both in literal shade from trees and that it has a lot of homeless people in the park. we went around 8am i just needed to get my pup to run around a bit to get things moving. it worked and we were on our way. there is a good coffee shop next to the park. forage coffee i would highly recommend that as either a start to the dog park or an ending. nevertheless the park did what i needed it to do and we were on our way.
Nice, Big Park
Kroll Dog Parkthis dog park was awesome. it was a little far off the freeway, but worth the detour! the park is a really good size. only downside is if you have a small dog I didn’t see a small dog park.
