Harbor house Inn was great for our pup! The room was nicely renovated and clean. Doggo got a bag of treats at check in- there was some grassy area for potty break(a bit small) and there was a wash station that we utilized after a visit to the dog beach- wash station had towels & soap there too.

This was a GREAT location. It was just a hop, skip, & jump away from the harbor/dock, we walked there daily to get dinner. There is a large park (kids) on one end it the dock that has LOTS of grass (opposite direction of the rock). It was less than a 1.5mile walk to the Morro Rock. Plenty of dog friendly restaurants.

The lodge was an absolute PERFECT location. It was for enough into the area but just outside of the main village traffic. We walked to the village shops many times which was supper helpful since the traffic on a holiday weekend can get a bit crazy.

We had to 2 labs. The room we had was nice. It was not a cabin. Had a great view of the lake. They are currently in the process of renovating and we got one of the rooms that had the newly upgraded. Had nice vinyl floors and a nice upgraded bathroom. The room was comfy. The dogs enjoyed the room. They were able to find space to appropriately relieved themselves without issues.

My only suggestion would be for them to equip the rooms with a swifter! Hah! You just track in a lot of dirt and gravel- it just comes with the territory of being on a mountain.

Had a nice stay at Sierra Nevada Resort and Spa. Had our 2 labs with us. There were several other dogs around. Lots of grass area for the dogs to relieve themselves. Our room was spacious and cozy. Although it was summer, I enjoyed the heated tiles (my husband keeps it’s cold in the room and I am a wuss). The shower was nice and big, even had a real (separate) tub. The doggos enjoyed their time there.
