Sandy Beach is now partly privately owned. Currently you can bring your dog before 9 am or after 5 pm and always on leash. Check the signs to be up to date.

It’s best to go the dog park area on off hours, daytime during the week is best. There are a few dog walkers who have well behaved dogs. Would never come here on the weekend when it is full capacity with dogs who don’t get out much it seems. The trails are for in leash only and they are spectacular
