Great wine and very dog-friendly
Tablas Creek VineyardWe have been here three times with our dog — twice to taste and once for a special event. The wine and setting are equally wonderful. They do have cellar dogs the wander through from time to time, but seem quite friendly. Our dog is very comfortable on the shaded deck.
Good food in a great setting
The Steakhouse at Paso Robles InnWe have dined here twice with our dog on the covered patio. The food has been very good and the patio is next to the inn’s park-like grounds, so you can take a stroll with your pup as well. The inn and restaurant are across the street from the Paso Robles square and park, and has easy parking. Next time we visit Paso, we hope to stay at the inn as well.
Small pet friendly patio
Buona TavolaThe patio on has 4 tables and can be noisy since it fronts a busy street, but the food is very good. We have been there twice with our dog and they were so nice with her as were the other diners. It can also be very windy and on the patio despite a ceiling-mounted heater.
Solid food with pet friendly patio
Springside RestaurantBring your own water bowl and have your dog join you on the outside patio fronting Spring Street. The food is solid based on having breakfast here twice. They do have “rules” they handout when seating you, but they are common sense ones that any responsible dog parent would generally follow anyway. We would return.
Beautiful outdoor dining
Robin's RestaurantThis is a gorgeous place to dine with your pet in the garden. The food is delicious, too! My husband had the beef bulgogi bowl and I had the Thai green coconut curry. Our dog was very comfortable.
Great time with Uncorked Wine Tours
Dog-Friendly Wine ToursOur second time booking Uncorked Wine tours for a day of tasting with our dog along. Michael, our driver/guide was great. The wineries selected for us were very good and offered a nice diversity. Our dog was made very welcome and comfortable. Highly recommend in SLO or Paso Robles, where they are based.
In disrepair
La Quinta by Wyndham Paso RoblesWe checked in yesterday with our pup for three nights since our preferred hotel in Paso was booked. Shocked at the condition of our room: curtains literally shredded, damaged walls and a filthy carpet. When I immediately went to the front desk with photos, they just said they would report it to maintenance. No pet amenities and only one waste station on a strip of grass along the busy road. Would not recommend staying here. I know we will not be back.
Views and dog-friendly
Spyglass Inn RestaurantMet a friend here dinner on the deck. Great views and they welcome dogs in the decks. The food was OK. Would probably go back for an appetizer and drink, but not really for the food.
Gorgeous ocean views from dog-friendly patio
Lido at Dolphin BayWe stayed here for three nights and had brunch at Lido with our dog. We also had a glass of wine one evening in the bar and they allowed our dog to join us. The serve champagne brunch daily and we really enjoyed the mushroom omelet. You can walk right out to the cliff side path and lawn areas, with plenty of space to exercise your dog. They offer waste stations should you need bags to pick up. Highly recommend the restaurant and the resort.
Great setting with delicious food
Luna RedDined here for lunch today with our pup. They immediately brought water for her and us. The patio is pretty and peaceful with lots of umbrellas for shade and heaters, if needed. Nestled next to the mission, it has a lovely setting. My husband had the individual seafood paella and I had the steak Saltado bowl. We both really enjoyed our meals.
Lunch with Jujube!
Thomas Hill OrganicsWe stopped in Paso today for lunch on our way to Pismo Beach. Had a great lunch here! Great patio with heaters. Good food!
Gorgeous Dog-Friendly Patio, Great Food and Service
Bistro Don GiovanniWe went for an early lunch today without a reservation as the restaurant opened. They were very welcoming to us and our dog. We shared delicious frito misto and both ordered the special: Alaskan Halibut with a savory Calabrian chili sauce on a bed of perfectly grilled asparagus. The setting, around a central fountain under the shade of umbrellas, was wonderful on this warm, sunny Monday.
