The Kimpton Sawyer was incredibly welcoming to both humans and pups! Great stay in a very quiet, nicely appointed room!

Had a room at the front of hotel in the historic section. Nice room but quite loud street below. The hotel is nicely kept up with beautiful antique furniture and some of the healthiest plants I’ve ever seen! Not fancy but worth it if you like old hotels.

Would definitely return to this wonderful little property with a staff who adore dogs! Great amenities and quiet room! We wished we’d planned more than one night here!

Nice location right on the bluff with fire pits and other nice amenities. Slightly dated but amply-sized room with fireplace. Very welcoming to dogs!

And musty smelling room that could really use an update. Staff was friendly and the restaurant was a nice place for dinner with the dogs.

No dogs allowed on patio.

The hotel is located very centrally with lots of great doggie friendly restaurants nearby. The room was nice.
The one downside was that the air conditioner cycled on and off all night, so none of us got a very restful sleep.
Also the plug in air fresheners in the hallways are strong smelling and not very good for air quality but maybe that is personal preference.

This was a good place to stay with a dog. The suite was clean and having a kitchen was nice. My only two complaints are: (1) when there were people in the unit upstairs, their walking around was quite loud and,(2) the AC unit cycled on and off and it was very loud when on, waking us up a few times. Otherwise it was good!
