Retired RV travelers with our rescue plott hound

We frequently camp at Huntington Beach State Park and look for dog friendly seafood spots. We came on Sept 1st, 2026 & it is crazy hot. This is our first visit to Hanser House. We came early not knowing if we would see any crowd challenges. Well, we had none at all. Dogs are welcome on the front outdoor patio. I will say it is a bit noisy with all the traffic on Hwy 17 as well as the music speakers. However our waitress graciously lowered the volume on the speakers and overall the staff experience was super. We and the dog were greeted well and a water bowl was brought immediately. They continued to check on us and the food was pretty good. It is your standard fried/boiled/broiled selection approach with a good selection of sides. Will we be back?….likely….it is so very convenient to the campground. Our next trip will be in mid-May and not so hot thankfully.

Great dog-friendly patio. As mentioned waiter brought cold water for my dog and was very attentive. All this and quite honestly some of the best Tex-Mex I’ve ever had. We’re Texas transplants to Virginia and when we’re back to see family we come back again and again to Lupe’s.

Good old fashioned diner food and excellent breakfast. Outdoor pet-friendly patio & full bar. Very kind and gracious waitstaff. In the heart of downtown Vinton, just east of Roanoke.

Very pet friendly. Good staff and excellent waitress. Icy water for my dog on a warm day. And the food is really, really good with large portions. Southern style cuisine and has about everything you could want. We went mid-day so low crowds. Evenings are probably packed.

Great place for casual dining with pet. Food pretty good, IPA so-so, but enjoyable. Waiter provided a water bowl. Go to the hostess in front and they will meet you at a side entrance to the deck area.

Went to Peter Otts for lunch after a boat ride. Outdoor patio area is dog friendly. Food fare is pretty good. Friendly employees. No water bowl provided, but enjoyed the view and food.

This initial review is actually from August 2020, be I had to get Hot Fish Club added to that BringFido list.
We have come to this restaurant several time over the last few years while visiting the Myrtle Beach area. We now have a class A motor home in were camping at Huntington Beach State Park just a few miles from Hot Fish Club. We called and verified they were pet friendly on the outside patio. The food was great, the beer cold, and the staff very good.. They were following good covid protocols. We're coming back Sept 2021 & look forward to our next visit.
