This La Quinta was easier to get to than the one we stayed in on the way thru Memphis the week before, however, I should have gone back to that one. The "hot tub" did not work and the staff said that they knew and it had been out for several months!!! We had been driving for 11 hours and really wanted to sit and relax in the hot tub. There were noisy people at around 11 pm wandering the halls and yelling. No staff told them to be quiet. and they were steps away from the lobby. The breakfast was ok but not that much variety. There was not really much green space for dogs to pee on. Just a couple of bushes at the front and my dog was thrilled to pee there. All together, if you are going to stay in one of the La Quintas in Memphis, I would suggest the one at I-240

Staff was friendly and grassy areas for dogs. Bed was comfortable. Will definitely stay again on our way back thru Memphis on the way home.

Top Notch on Burnet Rd was always the place to go and now they are in Hutto. Nice covered patio with fans overlooking Hutto park and splash pad. I thought i would sit out front at the picnic table and the staff suggested I go to the back patio with Casper. And they brought him a dog bowl with iced water. The back patio is all fenced in so he just wandered about (it was just the two of us) and I didn't have to worry about him getting out while I ate. The hamburger was great and the fried okra was recommended by the staff and it was also very good

Always a great spot to stop when I am in West Lake Hills. Nice shaded porch for Casper and I. Great place to people watch and get a sandwich and soup.

Large covered porch right on the water!! Every time I am in Port Aransas I try to make it here cause they are one of only a few eateries where I can bring my best friend, "Casper, The Cutest Dog in the World". Their food is great and they are wonderful about bringing out a snack for your pooch and a large bowl of COLD water. Plus the waitress's stop by and make sure that they scratch his head and ears.

This is a wonderful hotel!!! After having stayed at another hotel earlier on the trip that was dog friendly I wanted to make sure that the hotel had good reviews. The earlier one was not very good. Arrive was really great though!!! Almost everyone that was checking in and out had a dog and because they have a coffee shop and bakery in the lobby people from the neighborhood came by with their dogs. This is in a renovated, old, warehouse and it was really well done. Across the street is the neighborhood fire station with a large grassy area and poop bags for walking your dog. The bed was WAY comfortable and although the dog next door did bark some his owner shushed him and there were no more noises anywhere at all. If you find yourself in Downtown Memphis then is is definitely the place to stay with or without your dog.

It was good that I could bring my dog, however, there was an obvious lack of maintenance at the hotel. The vinyl flooring under the desk was torn, there was no shampoo, the elevator made weird noises that scared my dog. And because of the placement of the sign we turned into the wrong motel parking lot and that place was terrible!!!! We were relieved when we drove into the right parking lot.

We brought our dog, Casper, The Cutest Dog in the World, however it was really too cold to sit outside. We went inside, and Casper went to the car. The food was the best we have had down here!! Will definitely be back when we can sit outside on the patio.
