Just for the Locals
Barkwood Dog ParkFun and safe and clean…
Having recently moved to Beachwood, everyone we met while walking in our neighborhood recommended Barkwood and it did not disappoint.
Plenty of tennis balls and ball slinging equipment, obstacles to climb over or around or through, water bowls, fresh water, wading pool, poop bags…
Small dog side but everyone seems to use the big dog side and everyone is pretty well behaved.
$25 for annual gate fob.
Closed circuit tv for added security
Grassy dog park 🐾
Marlin a Pound Dog ParkIt’s rare to find a green lawn for playing fetch in the East Bay. Off leash fun and we had the park mostly to ourselves.
The dog water fountain was clogged and didn’t drain, so I wouldn’t let our dog drink the standing water. Otherwise a nice spot in a quiet neighborhood.
We’ll revisit again next time we’re in Livermore.
Unsafe: Car Break Ins!
Joaquin Miller Dog ParkWe used to enjoy this park. Sad that people have gotten so desperate. Broad daylight, passenger window smashed. Broken glass was a mess to clean up. And there was nothing in our car apart from spare Rx eyeglasses.
