we’ve been to Bobcaygeon several times with our dogs. It wasn’t until today that this app pointed out this spot as an activity. Perfect! It’s off season, so we had the place pretty much to ourselves. I love a good historical village, and the fact we could bring our dogs is a chefs kiss! (Heads up- no dogs allowed in the actual buildings, we took turns going in, while the dogs sniffed around.)

I can't say enough about our stay here! Melissa at the front desk was so welcoming, she gave us a dog goodie bag with treats, a list of vets and dog parks, and poop bags just in case. She encouraged us to bring our dog down to visit her- and made us feel super welcome. This was the first hotel we reserved through BringFido that actually knew ahead of time that we had a dog with us, and had booked us in a dog friendly room (first floor, patio door walk out). There is an extensive list of restaurants that deliver to the hotel- so we didn't even have to try to find a pet friendly restaurant. Best stay with my dog yet!

This was a nice find during our exploration of the area. They have a bowl of water out for pets, and me wait in the shady area while my husband ordered. The seating area is not huge (being a roadside stand) but we had no problem finding a shady table to sit at. Our dog got several pats, so she was happy. Make sure you check out the bathroom- it's impressive.
