Very dog friendly
Fins Bar & GrilleThe small outside deck at Fin’s is pet friendly. Food is very good - generous portions. shrimp tacos were delicious and fries are some of my favorite (nice a crispy). They brought a dog bowl with water right away, as well as treats for our dog. One of our favorite stops with our dog.
Great location with good food
Seneca Harbor StationWe were seated immediately and they were very accommodating for our dog, bringing him a bowl of water right away. Food was quite good, portions are generous. service was also good. I highly recommend if you are in the area.
Very dog friendly
Jimmie & SooksWe love that Jimmie & Sooks is super dog friendly. They even have a small doggie menu of nice freshly made meals and snacks. Our meals were very good, my crab cakes were delicious with jumbo lump crab meat and almost no filler. Sides of mashed potatoes and green beans were also good. I really enjoyed my Mojito too! My husband's rockfish entrée was equally delicious. They have two dog friendly outdoor seating areas – sidewalk seating in front, and a private enclosed patio in the back with umbrellas and shade. They have real dog bowls, and will bring out water for the dogs right away. The dog meals are large - almost too big for our large dogs but they each had some and we took the rest to go. Small dog owners be warned!
Good size room, clean and comfortable
Comfort Inn & Suites CambridgeComfort Inn & Suites is clean and comfortable. Suite rooms are large with a refrigerator and microwave (not what I would call a suite but it is a good sized room with a separate seating area). There are grassy areas around the hotel for pet relief. Nice place for a quick stop with your dogs. Right on a busy road so really can't do much walking right around the hotel. Downtown Cambridge is a short drive.
Great location
Snappers Waterfront CafeSnappers sits on the water overlooking a small marina. Back deck is covered with large ceiling fans so pleasant even in the hot weather. The food was very good - I enjoyed my Mahi tacos, large and fish was perfectly cooked. I was not as big a fan of the cole slaw, it was okay. My husband had a crab cake which was also really tasty. Very dog friendly with water bowls supplied readily. Highly recommend.
Nice historic building
Tavern on the Bay ResortSo, the Tavern on the Bay looked promising from the photos, but if you are expecting a hotel or B&B experience, this is not it. I booked a room via e-mail, I confirmed it via e-mail, and checking in was still problematic. They did not have my reservation or room correct. For $125 per night, I expect a bit more organization and service. There is no one in the building during the day other than guests. The staff arrive at 4 PM when the restaurant and bar open. Room was small and clean, and decorated in keeping with the 1880's building, but not the one I requested. While they are pet friendly, $50 per pet per night is extremely high. I don't mind paying a bit more to bring my pets with me but this is too much. Having said that, they did allow us to bring two large dogs. The restaurant and bar staff were great, very friendly and welcoming. They just need better management and scheduling if they are going to accept guests for their rooms. The direct views of the bay and marina from all rooms via the exterior deck are very nice.
