We stayed at The Hatter for a quick weekend getaway for our anniversary and had such a great time! The owners were absolutely amazing, the food was fantastic, and the Mentone Dreams suite was so nice and cozy. There was a private deck and hot tub with a beautiful view of the back yard, a cozy little sitting room with a TV and electric fireplace, and an amazing breakfast equipped with specialty coffee each morning! The details in the restaurant were just perfect. I’ve always loved Alice in Wonderland, and they’ve created the perfect Wonderland themed place to dine and stay. They were very pet friendly, so we were able to bring our dog along with us on our trip. He loved exploring the grounds and cuddling up by the fire. 10/10 would recommend staying here, we will definitely be back! P.S., get the hash brown casserole, it’s absolutely amazing!

We ate at McCreary’s for a late lunch coming into Franklin for the weekend, and it was a great first stop for us and our pup! the waitress brought him a water bowl (with ice) and everyone was super friendly towards him! I will say, the patio is very small (only 2 tables) so if you go during a busy time you may run into other dogs or no room on the patio to sit. we went around 3 PM on a Friday though, and it was perfect!

Dog beach is the perfect (and only) place to bring your pup on the beach in PCB. It isn’t a huge stretch of beach, but we didn’t have any trouble finding a spot with a good distance from the other dogs in the area. For the most part, other dogs were on leashes or very obedient and responsive to their owners. Besides the beach itself, Pier Park is very pet friendly, so it’s a great place to go on a walk. Some stores will also allow you to bring your dog in as well. We needed to grab our pup a new harness that could get wet before we went out, so we stopped at Brooklyn’s Dog Boutique in the back of Pier Park by Dillards. They had harnesses, leashes, collars, toys, treats, and more, so be sure to stop by while you’re there!

Salty Sues has been a favorite for us long before we had our pup, but now we love it even more! They have a designated patio with both fans and heaters specifically designated for people traveling with their pets. Like other reviewers stated, there was a line of people who were being given an hour+ wait time, but we were seated immediately with our pup. In addition, they even a doggie menu so you can order them dinner as well. On top of all that, the food and service is always amazing. Can’t beat Salty Sues if you’re traveling with your pet!

Taco Mama is the perfect place to bring your pup. The food is great and there is lots of outdoor seating, so you usually don’t have to worry about being able to get a table outside! Providence is a super pet friendly area too, so after dinner you can walk around or play out in the grassy area across the street! Highly recommend!
