We decided to take the pups with us to a function my husband needed to attend in downtown Lynchburg so we settled on this property for its proximity and the rate. On the plus side, the room was more than generously sized, there were biscuits waiting for the pups (nice touch!), and the room was quite clean. The cons? The obvious wear and tear of the hotel. This old girl has seen better days. As I stated above, the room was clean.
That said, the carpets are deeply stained, the bathroom tiled is in serious need of re-grouting & sealing, the toilet itself was not bolted down as tightly as it should be (maintenance obviously lacks an attention to detail), the windows are in desperate need of an outside deep scrub, holes in the bathroom door where hooks once were, shabby furniture, and a lumpy bed.
They’ve not re-opened the restaurant even though COVID restrictions (aside from employee masks, which were not followed) have been lifted.
As someone else noted, the available grass for your pup to potty is minimal. Any property that allows us to have our two large puppies gets an automatic extra star. If it had been just my husband and I, it would have made a two by the skin of its teeth. All in all, it was sufficient to our needs but nothing will “wow” here.

My husband and I stayed here on October 10th. What a pleasant surprise to find a nice place to stay that was spotlessly clean, well-located, and offered a large area where we our GSD could potty that is actually kept clean. Rates were quite reasonable and the staff was lovely.
