This area was the capital of the Cherokee Nation and the beginning point of the trail of tears. Very serene place to walk pups on leash around trails and buildings and lots of history. We were looking for a place to walk pups on trip from Michigan to Florida and very glad to have stopped here.

Traveling from Michigan to Florida, found this great dog park for our two Labradors to stretch their legs and have some fun off leash. Very clean. Also has double gate. A little hard to find - it’s at the very back of a school and softball fields. Was an experience enjoyed by all!

Hotel was very dog friendly. Busy area. We have two Labradors and they were well received. The courtyard area for the pups was clean, well maintained. Good for one night stay. The coffee was taken away by 10am so make sure you get some early if you’re a coffee drinker.
