It was pretty difficult to find a pup friendly kayak rental in central Florida because a lot of places are run by state parks and springs that don't allow dogs :( So I was very happy to find DJ's! Lake Santa Fe was a lovely spot for a few hours of paddling. DJ was super helpful and the whole experience was very easy.

Tomoka State Park was better than we expected! The sites are all nice and private and offer water and electric. Their are a few short trails along the water up at the northern tip and throughout the camping area, perfect for hikes with the doggo. There's also an Outpost that has a baot ramp, all the supplies and draft beer with outdoor seating on the water.

This is a beautiful campground located on the top of a mountain. Lots of dog friendly trails. The park has primitive and electric spots, clean bathrooms, and stunning views. We had deer walk through our campsite which was a real treat for our dog!

This is a great hotel right off the highway. All of the dog friendly rooms are located along a downstairs hallway with a side door that leads right out to a big field for walking the pup. Very clean and convenient.
