Beautiful park for a walk
Indian Riverside Parkwe have visited this park several times the past two weeks with our dog Cooper. winding sidewalk trails around two pounds with lush greenery and trees. walk along Indian River and out onto the pier. A small white sand beach. We love it here!!
Fun Day at The Park
Edward Medard Conservation ParkFor just a $2 entrance fee, we had a full fun afternoon exploring Edward Medard Park. From the paths through Sacred Hills with amazing above-the-ground root structures to the beautiful lake and trails, our dog, Cooper, was mesmerized. We also noticed a great playground for children, several pavilions with picnic tables and ample shade for the extremely hot days. The restrooms were amazingly clean as was the entire park. There are several signs warning of alligators. We did not see any on our adventure, thank goodness.
Unique Relaxing Walk
Metals & NatureOur dog, Cooper, was intrigued by the peacocks, ducks, rabbit, turkeys, pig, canaries, macaw and the exciting and unusual artwork. It was a fun excursion for us, too, as we walked leisurely through the paths of plants and unique works of art.
Great place to walk dog
Bayfront Park and MarinaWe ended up here by accident. We went out exploring and ended up in Sarasota downtown area. we needed a place to let our dog out and we discovered this jewel on Fido.com. Walking along the bay and seeing all the boats was a treat. The statue in the middle of the park was fun but sort of freaked out our dog! People were very friendly. There are benches and swings throughout the park. We plan to go back.
Great stay!
Sleep Inn Cartersville - Emerson Lake PointOur first time traveling with our dog! Sleep Inn made us all feel so welcome. We had a room on the first floor. It was easy to get in and out to take our dog out. We have already booked a room for our return travel to home!
Great time until my dog attacked
Dog Park Beach at Fort de Soto ParkWe were having a great time with our dog. The beach was nice and the people and dogs were friendly. We kept our dog on a leash for safety and thank goodness we did. A big black dog off leash was on top of our dog and my husband had to dig his nails into the black dog’s neck to get him off our dog. Minutes later the black dog, still off leash, attacks another dog. Our dog was traumatized and quite frankly, we were, too. Not sure we will ever go back here.
Cooper loved it!
Apollo Beach Nature PreserveEasy parking and access to beach. The beach was not crowded. We enjoyed our time here.
