Great Escape
Peanut Island ParkTook a little trip to Peanut Island today near Blue Herron bridge. You catch a boat from Riviera Beach and have nearly 80 acres to explore. The water was very clear and we spotted several iguanas! We took a picnic lunch and found nice shade to enjoy it. Our dog was welcome on the water taxi and he was able to check out the walk ways, water and more.
Great Eco Tour with our pet
Captain Tom's Custom ChartersCaptain Debbie and her first mate Danielle took us 2 adults and ten son) and our jack-weenie for a three hour charter up the Silver River into the springs. We brought a cooler with drinks and lunch. It was a relaxing trip and they were great spotting wildlife like mama gator and babies, an osprey catching a fish, gar and more. Would definitely recommend and they are very dog friendly. We brought our dogs bed but he mostly seemed to prefer wandering, our laps or under our chairs.
Shaded front porch dining
Marsh Landing RestaurantWe called ahead to confirm they could accommodate dogs. They have 4 small tables for two on the front porch. While service was a little slow, it kind of went with the vibe of the restaurant. Our dog hung out under the table watching cars go by. We got some water for our dog too and he enjoyed a little grilled chicken. We enjoyed a nice garden salad with grilled chicken and pork platter.
Favorite Run Club with Fido!
Intracoastal Brewing CompanyIntracoastal run club meets Wednesday nights and our dog loves to come run with the pack up and over the bridge. He is small but mighty and gets lots of smiles from the other runners. When we finish our run he is always welcome in the garden and can get water bowl and hang out at picnic benches or standing around with other runners while we enjoy our beer and or yummy dinner.
Family friendly with fur child!
Coasters PubWe have been twice since January 2021 and both times our pet was well taken care of. Be sure to call for a spot the day ahead as the back garden does tend to fill up. They sell doggie ice cream and offered us a water bowl. They even accommodated our request for a couple of carrots - a favorite treat for our dog. We always enjoy the beer menu and tasty fare.
