Great for Fido, ok for human
Lazy Dog Restaurant & BarLOVE the dog menu and special treatment my dog gets. We go there every few months mainly for him. Great atmosphere and friendly staff, nice seating area. Human food isn't impressive, not even the brunch. They DO have great drinks, though. The dog atmosphere and the drinks are what keep us going back.

Good location, but old bldg
Big Pines Mountain HouseStayed a wknd in July. Good location, within walking distance to Heavenly. They give you free access to a pvt beach nearby. Because of COVID-19, the room was not serviced during our stay. There is grass for a pet relief area, but the grounds are filthy. Trash cans were overflowing outside. Inside the room, the bathroom was older and dirty/stained. The bath towels were threadbare. Old sheets and comforter. Room smelled musty and mildewy.

Good location
Hotel BecketStayed for a wknd in July. Great location, literally across the street from Heavenly. Room looked renovated. Clean. The room was not serviced during out stay, but I think that is standard practice now many places due to COVID-19. The outdoor areas got gross over the wknd. Since the hotel is on the corner of a busy intersection, the outdoor trashcans were always overflowing. No real grass or dirt or convenient pet relief area on the grounds.

Very nice and clean, great service
Oxford Suites Sonoma CountyStayed there this past wknd. Very clean grounds. Inside of hotel is very clean and nice. Staff was friendly to my dog. No designated pet relief area that I saw, but plenty of areas around the hotel, plus they have dog poop bags. Starbucks across the parking lot if you want to grab a Puppaccino. I felt safe there because it seemed so clean, even during COVID-19.

Great location for puppy
La Quinta by Wyndham Denver Airport DIAStayed there last Wed night. Easy check-in even late at night, great location. Room entrances are internal (safer!) Carpeted room. There was a great courtyard area for the puppy to do his business, no need to go out the front doors or parking lot. Make sure to take your room key with you to the courtyard, because the door locks behind you. They also keep fresh, lemon-infused water in the lobby area. Bathroom was nice, large, and clean.

Extended Stay America Suites St Louis Airport CentralEntrance was indoors (more secure). Friendly staff. Room had utensils. Carpeted room.

Subpar service
Extended Stay America Suites Denver Lakewood SouthThe concierge was not friendly. Unlike other ESA locations, this one does not provide utensils in the room unless requested. Stairs are rusty. The concierge activated my key card to a room that was already occupied. The current occupants and my husband and I were all shocked when the door opened with our key. The concierge was even more irritable when we went back downstairs to request she re-key the card. This was just last night.
