Great place to sit outside and enjoy good food and drinks!! They have a dog-only menu and LOVE dogs!! So there is no problem at all bringing yours. Just go inside and tell the hostess (or bartender) that you have a dog and they will meet you out back on their patio with menus. Such a refreshing experience for this area! Good food and wide range of drinks too - and the lake side setting is a bonus!!

Cutest little ice cream shop with the nicest owners and people working there. Their homemade gelato, sorbet and ice cream are all incredible, smooth and creamy - with very fresh and unique flavors. And the “pug” in their name does refer to the pug dog theming! All dogs are welcome and loved and there is some outdoor seating available if your pup is dirty from a day at the beach or hiking!! Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back soon!

The COOP is a great local restaurant serving down home cooking, southern style with southern hospitality to go with it. We love going there for their amazing chicken or catfish, and our little Maltipoo comes with us every time. They are so great about allowing him to be in the dining room with us on really hot or rainy days, but they also have a great outdoor patio space and a take away window for times where none of us want to sit inside. Our little man loves the sights and smells of The COOP and so do we!
