One dog: Tasha, also known as "German Shepherd number 6." Our second 'rescue' GSD. Great dog, smart as a whip, and does a terrific job of supervising her family.

Bluemont Loves Dogs!
We've been taking our beloved GSD to Bluemont for about 18 months now, and we love it there. Dogs are allowed everywhere on the property -- including inside the buildings. Even special events do not exclude dogs. You can't get more dog-friendly than Bluemont. Plus, the views are spectacular, the food is great, and several of their wines are really quite remarkable. But getting to enjoy all of this AND have the dog with us makes it all the better. (And if you haven't been to Bluemont in a while, give it a try -- their wines have come a LONG way in the past decade or so.)
