Last year for my birthday, I took my dog and I up to Chincoteague/Assateague. Looking for outdoor adventures that were pet friendly, I came upon this company. I didn't see any reviews on BringFido, so I was hesitant. I contacted the company, which are a husband and wife team. They were extremely friendly and helpful. I, of course, spent the summer practicing with Gus in my kayak, so I knew he was experienced and familiar with being out on the water. When I went in the fall, the couple was extremely helpful. They watched Gus while I ran to the restroom before the tour began. They helped me find the best kayak that would be comfortable enough for Gus and myself. Our tour was fantastic! Such a blessing to see God's beautiful creation around us. The company was very knowledgeable about the local wildlife and legends of the Chincoteague Ponies. They kept being super friendly and loving towards Gus. Someone else on the tour had a camera and they took several pics including some of Gus and I on our kayak. When I got back from my trip, they had sent those pictures to the company, who emailed them to me. Overall, I was thrilled with my experience and would recommend them to anyone!

I will now try to always find a Home2 Suites to stay. Many “dog friendly” places I’ve stayed in have been 2 star-worthy or sketchy. This hotel was so nice for me and my fur baby. So much room! I also lived that they offered dog treats in the hotel lobby.
