Yummmy!
Leon's Frozen Custard Drive-InThe custard was great and we got two small cups of vanilla for our corgis, but they easily could have shared one cup. A neat place to visit at least once. Parking was limited and there is no place to sit and eat, so you have to get your pup out, leash them up, wait in line and then go back to your car to eat. Also the neighborhood got a little scary at night but they have security (which I guess is also a little scary for frozen custard).
So fun!
Blue Bat Kitchen & TequilariaThey have a good sized outside area that is super dog friendly. They even brought out a water bowl for our pups with our drinks! Food was really good, drinks were a bit pricey to us but we were happy to find a great place to drink with our pups. They also have a nice view of the river! Highly recommend!
Plain but fun
Runway Dog Exercise Area - Permanently ClosedThere weren't many dogs playing in the park, they mostly just wandered around with their people. Plenty of room to roam. There were some muddy spots but we just walked around them. They had some water you can give your dogs as you first come in. We used the big dog area (we have 2 corgis) and they had a great time being off-leash and just walking around with us.
Great stay!
Home2 Suites by Hilton Milwaukee AirportThis hotel was so great for our dogs! They gave us a ground floor room, right next to the doors for easy in/out access. They do not do housekeeping daily so they will not go in your room if you need to leave your pet alone. Decent sized potty area for dogs with poop bags available. Decently sound proof (hardly heard the planes and the planes did not bother the dogs). It was also just an extra $50 for both of our dogs to stay and that was for the whole trip. We will for be using this hotel in the future!
