Definitely not Dog “Friendly”
The Briarpatch RestaurantThere is a big difference between “dog-friendly” and “allows dogs”. Waited about 30 minutes for a patio table to dine with our senior Yorkie, Minnie. When the waitress took us to our table, she informed us that we would have to sit at a table on the edge of the patio straddling the sidewalk because “that dog” would have to stay on the sidewalk. THAT. DOG. Ummm... not dog friendly at all. They wanted her to stay on the public sidewalk where she was getting stepped on. No thank you. Left before we ever placed an order.

Minnie-tested, Minnie approved!!!
Oceanside Beach Bar and GrillThis was an awesome place and truly lives up to its dog-friendly reputation! Everyone we met was so kind to Minnie and our server brought a huge bowl of water just for her without us even having to ask! Food was delicious as well... will definitely be back next time we are in the area!
