The beach was an easy walk from our hotel. Our midsize dog had a great time chasing the ball and swimming. The beach was clean - no dog poop or trash. we were there about 10:30am on a Friday and there was plenty of available parking in the adjacent lot. By the time we left at 11:45 there were still a few spots open. The parking lot is for both the Dog Beach and the humans only beach, so when the surf and or weather is good, the lot fills up. Bring your own water for your dog, or a bowl because the dog bowl part of the water fountain does not work.

This restaurant is right across the street from the beach. It has patio seating, so you can sit outside with your dog. The food was really good - loved the calamari , clam chowder, and fish and chips.

I had the red flight and hubs had the white. Our wine guide gave us great info about each wine we tasted and then allowed us the time to talk about the wines and what we liked and didn’t like. I appreciate tasting rooms that don’t try to force their tastes or opinions on their guests. We walked out with a mixed case.

From the hostess to the servers, they all asked if our dog needed anything besides the water and the peanut butter dog treat they offered us. We ate the pork sliders and the prawns and they were Delano filling. The Arizona brewed beers were refreshing and delicious.
