I stayed in a single room. The room is small but well furnished so that I could stay organized. There’s a nice green space for walking your dog, but for longer walks the surrounding neighborhood is safe to walk. Walking into downtown Brevard is about 15-20 minutes. I have friends in the area and will definitely return to The Sunset Motel on my next visit.

I have never been to a more eclectic store. It’s got everything from front doors to dining room tables to wall art to plants. The staff is super-friendly. Herschel had a good time sniffing and getting pets.

The museum/park has 5 miles of weaving trails to explore. There’s plenty of shade and water. It’s located 15 minutes from the airport, just off the interstate. There are public toilets where you can bring your dog with you and not have to leave in the car. I cannot recommend this location enough.
