We love this cruise, and their people! We've been taking Wynne, our large standard poodle, on these cruises for three years now. We go at least a few times a year, and have always been well treated. Today was no exception, we were greated warmly at the ticket booth, with one of the young men remembering Wynne from the "Princess and Superhero" cruise a month before (he was dressed as SpiderDog). There were plenty of families on board, and one other pup (small doodle), and everyone was great about having dogs on board. A few small children came over and asked to greet him. Humanity at its best. Thank you LG Waterfront for being dog friendly!

So, we went to Lake George today for the 4th of July, we walked around, enjoyed a boat cruise (also dog friendly), then wanted to do lunch out. We checked out a few places, and the menus were ok, decks were second floor, and dog section was in the full sun. We strolled past The Lagoon, checked the menu (interesting to very good), and YES deck on ground level (with big red umbrellas, and a great view), also on the second floor. We waited about 15 minutes for them to open, and bam ... snagged the front table at the railing to people watch, boat watch, and just enjoy the water views and light breeze. The server immediately came out with a cute little bowl of cold water for our pup (large standard poodle). We placed our order, and asked for a recommend on the appetizer between 3 things - she immediate smiled and said "I LOVE the greek salad", and that's what we got, along with two handhelds to share. This salad was beyond delicious, and honestly I am planning our next visit there. The handhelds (Philly and Tennessee Chicken slider) were really tasty, not huge servings, but plenty. Plenty enough that Wynne got to enjoy some of the steak from my half of the Philly, and perhaps a few tater tots. The server was super attentive, even after it started getting busy. She came out to refill his water bowl, and give him a head scratch. He was treated very well, and that is important to us. Location, setting, atmosphere, and food quality is enough to give 5 bones, but honestly the staff knocked it out of the park.

We enjoyed, for the second year in a row, the Wilburton's spring slumber party. Needless to say, Wynne's tail was doing helicopters when he got out of the car. The Levis family and staff are so welcoming, and the property is stunning. We enjoyed many early morning walks on the grounds and out through the woods. We even watched a hen turkey out for a morning stroll. And of course, we can't forget to mention the Dogcierge, host with the most, Jetson! There's just a great vibe at this historic Vermont inn, and to have your pups welcomed the way that are just makes it a great go-to place.

Stopped in for lunch after walking the Zim Smith trail. We were greeted warmly and the server was very happy to meet Wynne. He was comfortable under the table, in the shade. Food was great, and he even enjoyed some of my turkey.

Wynne got to visit on July 4th, and was treated to free Strawberry ice cream in a nice bowl. He loved it, and hung around to ham it up at the picture prop. The staff was very happy to see him enjoy his ice cream.
