Food was very good. Ample parking for truck towing an Airstream. Just off the freeway. We’re traveling down I-5 to San Diego.

Very dog friendly and shaded patio. Great service. Food was great! Friendly service.

Perfect place for lunch if you’re traveling with your pups. Large portions and good salads and sandwiches.

The waitress and manager were wonderful. We were the only ones seated outside in the patio and they told us we could take the dogs off leash. The brought our dogs ice cold water. There was shade umbrellas. Lunch was delicious and restaurant was right off the freeway with room to park our truck and 30 ft Airstream.

We stayed for four nights at the Blue Heron. It was very clean, nice people and Charlie our host was very helpful. Our two dogs loved playing in the courtyard. The cottage was cute and had a nice kitchen with a dishwasher. Glad to have a dedicated parking space. We were walking distance to Dog Beach, lots of restaurants and other Ocean Beach activities.
