Great stay

Holiday Inn Portland- I-5 S (Wilsonville)

We stayed the weekend here with our 40 lb goldendoodle. Recently renovated property with nice rooms. We were placed in a room on the ground floor—no issues with noise, and easy access to outside for potty breaks. Grassy area, and sidewalks for walks with the pup. Great freeway access for many greater-Portland area activities.

Good location, some drawbacks

River's Edge Hotel Portland, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

Excellent location in Portland—great access for all of our desired activities. Walking trail was really nice, along the river, 10 min walking distance to coffee shops, a few restaurants. Drawbacks. No pet potty area: one weed-y spot on hotel property with a no-dogs-allowed sign. Staff instructed us to go “next to the train tracks”. Inadequate linen in our room (3 guests), not enough towels, no linen for the pull out sofa. Multiple requests for linen before we received it. Balcony area not enclosed (partial cloth barriers in between different guest areas) which was a lil challenging with the pup. Property looks like it could use an update. $30/day for parking. No super explicitly dog friendly features…no dog dishes, treats, waste bags.
