Navigation in & out stairs, not for handicapped, greenery out back for dogs but no designated pet areas or poop bags. Walls paper thin, older building & facilities designed for pleasure, not business travelers. Some rooms near much traffic noise. Employee Ana helpful & man who gave me wake-up call door knock in am & wished me good luck.

Susan @ front desk was an absolute doll & really went the extra mile to help, both on my phone calls before I arrived & with anything I needed help with. My dog loved her & gave her smiles, always a good sign! I do wish I was ground floor but 2nd worked out (except when elevator stopped working Friday afternoon.) We enjoyed kitchenette & nice table for our Thanksgiving dinner. Bed quite comfy, too.

Room convenient to doggie walk area just outside room door, plenty of poop bags, nice continental breakfast, quiet, fridge & microwave in room. Heads up, you need to use card for payment, no cash accepted.

Sketchy characters everywhere. Felt unsafe walking dog @ night. After our 9:30 pm walk, skipped 11:30 pm. Approached & bothered day & night (even with dog,) couldn't tell some of the clientele from the homeless outdoor residents. One approached us during daytime walk, later noticed he was living by a hotel tree, decided to walk dog in front @ night, that was even worse. One man didn't have enough sense to quit trying to pet dog when she felt as threatened as I did & growled. Felt unsafe whole time (& I'm from NYC so I'm not squeamish.) Overpriced. Disappointed with our long-awaited Beach getaway. Made reservations thru BringFido, 1st time got confirmation, then msg 'room unavailable,' 2nd time repeat, 3rd time got reservation. When I checked in, was told I had 3 rooms reserved! Straightened it out, then my reservation said 'no pets,' I said I have 1 dog. It was as if my Fido didn't exist. Not a good experience.
