Everything is about being dog friendly here. Dogs welcome in the cabins. Can do a little tour of the farm to see the animals and they also have their own trail on site. Stores aren't close so bring what you'll need food and hygiene wise, but the kitchens are well stocked and a great get away. There's also a nice hiking trail across the street.

Beautiful state park, nice clean bathrooms and shower houses. They do have a 2 dog per site Max, which a few Missouri State Parks are going to. Nice shaded sites, decent size yards. And nice shaded trail. The loop is 10 miles with a cut thru option

Nice state park. $10 for a day pass per car but you have until noon the next day to use at any of the state parks. Trail options so there are some paved and then some more adventurous ones. There is also a east and west side if you don't want to do the entire loop. Each side gives a different view. Nice, clean bathrooms as well. Dogs leashed

In/out trail. Pretty wide and easy terrain for all to walk. View of the river as well. Would think all ages and fitness levels dog and human alike would do well. Free

Pricey to get in. Walking the bridge is about all the dogs would enjoy. $30 per person

This is an in/out trail, dogs welcome on leash. A couple of water stops along the way. The terrain is not bad but This is an elevation challenging trail. If you and your dog like the more challenging trails, this is a good one.

You will have to park before getting to the top but dogs are allowed on the buses just have to go to the back. There is a trail option as well. My one pup did have a little issue with the elevation so we did not walk the trails at all. You can stop at a couple spots along the way to get out and walk around.

They had a good size patio for the those with dogs, their own menu and bowls. Staff seems to enjoy seeing the dogs come in. My one dog enjoyed it, the other seems to do better with hiking and water sports but would definitely recommend for those who's pups enjoy being included in the dinner reservations

We hung out here a few times after some long hiking days. There's a couple of food options and a brewery side with outside seating and outside games available and a whiskey side with a fenced in area you can sit with your dogs. They will bring the dogs a watering bowl as well

Get there as soon as it opens to park right there without a walk or shuttle ride. Short walk to a water fall and small creek, can also take a little side trail for another dip option. 30 min max visit (per park) After a week of hiking my dogs loved this pit stop, wear your water shoes. Leashed dogs only (my preference anyway)

It's all paved so an easier option when needing a hiking break, dogs are required leashed (preferred) bathrooms and drinking fountain on site. Free if you stick with the park, not sure about the nature center. Should be good for all dog sizes, ages. Take the backroad out for a different view and balancing rock as well

Less crowded than the Garden of the Gods, with a few trail options. We took intermediate and wasn't bad at all. Got to see a nice size buck while there. Not paved but trails are clearly marked with sand type gravel. Leashed along trails but they do have a huge fenced open run area for the dogs as well. Was only one other dog using it, I have one dog selective one so we didn't use it, but had we gotten there early I'm sure we could have had it all to ourselves. Outhouse only bathroom option. FREE

You will have to pay to get in, very flat without much to look at. We opted to leave rather than pay to walk in an open field

Our favorite hike for views in the area. Free, incline, some narrow areas, get there early for close parking and there is a creek they can cool off in after. We definitely prefered the Mt Cutler Trail over the Mt Muscoco for views. Mt Muscoco side is all for the challenge

Yes the structure is neat, but not that much to look at. Yes you can bring your dogs in the shops but probably more small dog friendly per tight and crowded. If you are into museum type stuff with a small pup you will probably like, just wasn't a fir for us
