Great stop for lunch!

We were camping in the area and couldn’t check in when we got to town so decided to find a place for lunch. Great find. We sat on the patio with a nice view of the reservoir where we could watch the boats go in & out. The food was great, hubby had a burger and I had Caesar wrap. Our Buddy had the good boy breakfast, which was boiled eggs over peanut butter. Perfect for keeping him occupied while we ate. Food service was pretty slow, but they told us that right away. The patio view was plenty to keep us entertained while we waited and they were good about keeping our water and ice tea filled in the meantime. We had a nice booth too to tuck our boy out of the way.

Great Stop for Breakfast, Lunch, or Coffee

We were on the road and looking for something besides fast food for lunch. We always love a good coffee drink so decided to give Backroads Coffee a try. We are so glad we did. They had a nice breakfast and lunch menu, and breakfast is served all day. I had a JoJo breakfast burrito and my husband had avocado toast. Everything was fresh and delicious. We also noted their baked goodies and had a couple yummy monster cookies for the road. And while we didn’t have our doggo with us this time, we usually do. We took note of their nice patio out front, complete with dog bowl of water. We will definitely be back next time we are by this way.

Not dog friendly

Large sign posted, no dogs allowed on patio. We ate there without Fido. Food and service good, but NOT dog friendly, even on patio. Only reason for 1 star.

Great southwestern meal with the doggo!

We just finished a great meal at Anthony’s. The previous review had me at Navajo Taco. I actually ended up having the shredded beef sopapilla with red chili and my husband had the Navajo taco special. The patio nothing special but was very pleasant on this beautiful evening. The food was good, service was quick, and everyone was friendly. My husband also commented that this was one of the most reasonably priced meals we have on our Route 66 trip.
