Love to travel, and if I’m driving, my Auss is coming with me 😁

Good for quick play session
Newport Dog ParkTurn in to parking lot at library entrance, park is in back and is fenced. Park is on smaller side, took my Aussie there to run off some energy before the vet around 2pm. Lock your car, saw a few homeless folks trying to open car doors. If you’re that close to the city, I’d recommend Fido field downtown if you want more space but this will do in a pinch.
Gatlinburg Trail
Great Smoky Mountains National ParkOut and back, not a loop. 1.9 miles one way. Nice shaded walk, but no garbage cans, no poop bag stations, and no water source other than the creek.
Good park near Gatlinburg
PetSafe Unleashed Dog ParkHiking trip to Smokies, took my 8mo Aussie puppy here for afternoon exercise as the Nat’l Park only has 2 dog friendly trails we’ve already done this week. Super weird local lady in the small dog area so moved over to the large dog area. Big enough for ball chasing, some shaded area, and a water source. Seemed pretty picked up as for as land mines go, but definitely some muddy areas in the shade. Learned the hard way with our last dog to always travel with shampoo, wipes, extra lead and collar :) Recommend an old harness/collar before heading over to this park and having some towels or doggy wipes for cleanup afterwards. Other than the weird lady, the other locals were very friendly and dogs very well behaved. Also, there is a playground for kids in same complex. This is a great place to stop if you’re traveling!
Probably not for bigger dogs
L.O.F.T. - Lost Objects Found TreasuresFun snarky gifts. Store is packed pretty tight with stuff everywhere. Shop associates were not friendly at all. One tail swipe would probably take out a display. Left my dog outside with my husband.
