We had so much fun here! During season they have posted signs for on-leash before 8am and after 6pm, but there were dozens of local dogs on the south end of the beach playing off leash, and we were encouraged to join in.

We had such a wonderful and relaxing time here. The location is absolutely beautiful, the beach off season was amazing and the staff we encountered during our stay were all wonderful.

Dogs are not allowed on the lighthouse grounds, only the walking trails [which there are quite a few]. If you plan to spend time at the lighthouse museum or grounds, it would not be advised to go at a time when weather would be too warm to let your dogs kick it in the car for 30-45mins. **Be advised the trails even in mid April were tick infested. Despite multiple types of repellant, we turned around after about 20min on one of trails due to ticks. The museum and lighthouse are worth the visit, but would only go in cooler months, or without the dogs.

We had a great stay. Nice location and the room was spacious and had great amenities. Staff was so nice and helpful and accommodating. Will definitely stay again.

Nice little trip around the island. We were able to see some of the island ponies as well as lots of birds including some eagles! Was a great trip and staff was awesome and knowledgeable. Would definitely come back again!

We had a late but great dinner. Friendly staff, brought water for my dog as soon as we sat down and the food was great!

Great place for a walk and to take some pictures. It's 100% pack in/pack out so be prepared to take your waste with you as there are no trash bins. Trails were well maintained and we had a great time exploring!
