Senior Dogs Loved the “Sniff Safari”
Sweeten Creek Antiques and CollectiblesMy 2, 13 year old, chihuahuas loved exploring each and every aisle, taking in so many new smells and meeting so many kind employees who stopped to peg them and tell them how cute they are. We found some great things and will be back!
The Sculpture Walk Was Great!
Founders ParkWe loved this park! plenty of grass to keep your pups feet cool, a stream they can splash in, and an icecream truck around the corner to really make this a great summer spot!
My dog was celebrated here!
Blue Bike CafeClementine the 5 month old Aussie and her bestie Archie the 1 year old Dachshund were greeted, treated, served cool water in pristine bowls (I’m a stickler for public water bowls but these were clearly cleaned as well as my own dishes which I thoroughly appreciated) while we went over the dog menu to choose between dog burgers, tenders, bacon, or doggy ice cream for their brunch on the town today! The kindness and respect displayed towards my dogs by staff on a busy day where they could easily have been seen as a nuisance warmed my heart and strengthened my faith in humanity.
The food? the food is what dreams are made of. I will be having dreams of the pancakes, biscuits and gravy until I go back and get more. As far as atmosphere, I love how their set up allows the outdoor seating to feel connected with the restaurant (and their wall paper is to die for) but my favorite part is the quirky coffee mug collection. Additionally, this cafe is located next door to a dog spa and just around the block from a pet boutique, so the location could not be better for pet owners. We can’t wait to go back!
