We stayed at Huzzah Valley Resort in Steelville, MO on the banks of the beautiful spring-fed Huzzah River. So dog friendly. Dogs on a leash are allowed in the general store while checking in and out, on kayaks, canoes, and rafts (perfect shallow clear water for swimming and floating in the Huzzah), on the bus ride back to the resort, and in cabins and campsites. You can rough it or stay in an air conditioned cabin with tv and fireplace plus everything in between. We love this place that treats dogs like welcome guests and highly recommend it to dog families! Plus it is a floaters paradise.
