Wish I’d known it was dog friendly when I went this weekend for live music. I will be back with my pup. Plenty of outdoor seating and shade. Especially grateful that they are also vegan friendly.

Despite a forecast for 70s and sunny, I was told they would not be opening the patio. The restaurant was almost empty and waitstaff were standing around. Hard to imagine seating us outside would have been a hardship. There were other more welcoming options in the same parking lot.

First of all the front desk staff was wonderful. The sweetest ladies and very chill. The room itself was in some disrepair. Nothing I couldn’t live with but the kind of stuff you have to report because you don’t want them to think your dog did it. Also the floor was super dirty. Pet fees make me crazy because my dog is better behaved than most humans, so if I’m going to pay an extra fee for my dog to be in a room that has been occupied by other dogs in the past and everyone before me paid the same fee, it seems these hotels should be using the money they collect to maintain the dog-friendly rooms! Clearly La Quinta disagrees.

Great spot for dogs off season. Easy beach and boardwalk access. The place was full of sweet well behaved pups. A few notes: (1) stains on the rugs in the room. This didn’t bother us but I was concerned that the hotel would think we stained the rugs based on stains already present in the room. (2) with only 2 small elevators and the potential for many many dogs this may not be the best option of your dog is any bit reactive. (3) parents of little humans are not asked to keep an eye on their children in any way close to how we are asked to manage our pups.
The lobby was full of kids running wild, sitting on the floor at the bottom of flights or stairs staring dogs in the eye and then acting bothered when the dogs were curious about them, etc. If your dog needs any kind of calm or order you’ve been warned. Largely the parents responsibility, but given all we are asked to do as pet parents there was enough craziness for it to have been appropriate for hotel staff to say something to the adults with all these kids. We were there for 4 nights and the kids grew more wild and out of control as the days passed.

Lovely spot by the water. Staff could not have been nicer. Super accommodating. They brought the dogs water and even gave them some love. Fortunately another dog family with a pup off leash - approaching and barking at every other dog that came near the entrance to the patio didn’t stay long (This what keeps more places from letting us have nice things and I’m so grateful this establishment sees past it!) If traveling alone with your dogs, come around back to the river walk patio and wave down an employee - they’ll take care of you from there.

Beautiful and peaceful spot for a stroll. We were passing through on a rainy day but the tree cover kept us dry enough. very buggy so wear some spray.

Sufficient for a pass through with dogs. They can’t be left alone in the room so not a good option for multiple nights. I was given a conveniently located room for easy entry and exit with pups.

Dog friendly through and through. Easy access to outside. Greenspace with a picnic table. Short walking path starts by the pool. Dog treats at the front desk. Friendly staff. Only complaint: the carpet was damp and as a result the room air was damp as well. It seemed as if they might have steam cleaned after the last guest but didn’t give it a chance to dry out.

At check in I was directed through the lobby, past the pool, up the elevator, down the hall and around back to my room. Traveling alone with two dogs, I politely asked if there were any easier access/first floor dog friendly rooms and received an argumentative non-response. After making my way to my room with two dogs strapped to my waist and all of our bags in tow via the convoluted path I’d been provided, I discovered that there was a parking lot around back and my room was an easy walk from the back lot up one simple flight of stairs. And then there was the male staff member peeing right off the first floor walkway into the flower beds. On day two my keys abruptly stopped working - I stood in the reception area with my dogs and several other guests waiting for assistance for a quite some time while staff members passed us by. When someone finally came to check them in and fix my key there was absolutely no acknowledgment of the wait.

Very kind front desk reception at check in. Easy access to room. I don’t understand additional pet fees. I feel certain my dogs make less of a mess than most people, and that the rooms get vacuumed either way.

I was looking for a place to walk my dogs. Bring Fido suggested this park. i drove here. it was empty. probably because there is a $9/ vehicle permit fee.

…but I was traveling solo and couldn’t get anyones attention from the door to order or ask permission to come in with my pups. only good for dogs passing through with more than one person

menu looks excellent. patio is nice and shaded. I was alone with my dogs so couldn’t order food…can’t take them inside and can’t leave them outside.

I left my pups at the Airbnb based on the reviews that said no dogs during Covid but I guess Covid is considered over now because we aren’t required to wear masks. Dogs are now in fact allowed on the patio again but you do need to go inside to request a table - so if traveling alone you’ll need to give them a call to meet you outside! Ok food. Shaded patio off the parking lot with a gate do you aren’t staring at cars. Some seats have a partial mountain view.

Inexpensive, clean, friendly. Super easy with the dogs. AC had a hard time keeping up at first (it was 114 degrees at 6pm) but by the middle of the night it was too cold! Comfortable bed. Good shower pressure. People check in on the late side here. When I first pulled up the lot was empty and I was worried by this, but later in the evening it was at least 2/3 full.

It would have been better if I had not accidentally requested a smoking room. Completely my fault and I assumed someone had smoked in a non-smoking room so didn't ask to move. I only checked my reservation after I found an ashtray. That said, the front desk check-in was quick and friendly and accommodations were acceptable. Pillows were a strange shape and a little lumpy. Lots of truck noise in the parking lot but the AC drowned it out. Decent shower pressure and cooling system on a hot summer night. Beautiful sunrise from the green space when I took the dogs out in the morning. (The sunset also looked nice but was mostly visible only from the other side of a neighboring hotel).

The dogs loved the room too. Hotel needs some cosmetic upgrades but this didn’t impact our stay in the least. Especially grateful for no pet fee added on to cost of room.

Easy check in. Room managed to be comfortable at the same time that it was pet friendly. Not a lot of outdoor space for much more than potty breaks.

Clean enough. Easy check in. Good value. Thin walls so we listened to a less settled pup bark throughout the night and then listened to the pup’s people moving about and packing up very early in the morning. Mia at the front desk was super sweet, very friendly and incredibly attentive.
