When we made our reservation, BringFido said it was $40 per stay, per pet. The hotel charged us the fee for each night. Fortunately BringFido got it cleared up and they reversed the charge. $80 per night (we have 2 dogs) is ridiculous when the room charge is only like $90. They clearly want to discourage pet owners, so we'll find a different hotel next time we visit family there.

Great location for passing through town. They are obviously dog lovers and cater to our furry friends.
Room was clean but a little loud in the main building, we would probably choose to stay in the building across the street. Only downsides were no dog area (dirt lot across the street) and the hot tub was barely lukewarm.

The location is great and one of the few options for Donnelly. Rooms are super small, breakfast is bagels and a toaster, and there's no pet area. But it's reasonably priced and the staff is super nice.

Newer, clean hotel with awesome staff and pretty good (typical) breakfast. There is no pet relief area, so you have to let them go in the rocks, in the adjacent dirt field, or somewhere else off site. Otherwise I would have given them 5 bones.

The staff is pretty great and the rooms are OK, but it's not very pet friendly anymore. They raised the per pet, per day fee to a ridiculous amount and have no pet area, so they really aren't pet friendly anymore. It's too bad because we've stayed here several times before, but now we'll find somewhere else.

They did a nice job updating the hotel, but they aren't very dog friendly. The pet relief area is a joke. Maybe spend a few of those pet fees you charge to put in some grass.

It's a pretty bare bones location, but for the price it's not too bad. "Breakfast" is coffee and granola bars.

The property is just OK. It's mostly clean and the staff is friendly, but very basic. You would expect more from a motel that charges so much, and there is no dog area to be found. The guy at the desk suggested we take our dogs to the woods across the way, but "watch out for bears."

I don't understand the "great hotel" reviews on here. The place is old, run down and dirty. We arrived about 11:30 at night and were greeted by a young lady that I'm pretty sure was high. She says "I know you reserved a king room, but we only have a room with 2 double beds." What the heck? Why bother with a reservation system if you don't have any of those rooms? My wife and ended up sleeping in separate beds because they were so small. There's no dedicated pet area or bags anywhere. We usually love La Quinta because they are so dog friendly, but not this one.

Any hotel that charges a $75 per night pet fee is not a dog friendly hotel!

The hotel is nice enough, clean, decent breakfast, and the staff was nice. Their idea of a dog area is "that grassy area over at Walmart."

We used to love La Quinta but they are less dog friendly now that Wyndham bought them out. They charge a pretty outrageous pet fee. The staff at this location is great, the facilities are OK but a little run down. The carpets all need cleaning and the hot tub is not very hot. Breakfast is pretty good and the coffee is always hot.

We got in late and left early. The staff was great and very helpful, but it's an older hotel and wasn't super clean. Breakfast was pretty sparse as well. Good place for a quick stop on your trip, but we probably wouldn't stay here for more than one night. Lots of great grass in the courtyard for the dog though.

Nice folks, maybe a little overpriced for the area but overall a positive experience.

Awesome staff and location. Way too overpriced for what you get, but LA Quinta does a great job accommodating pets.

While clean, this is an old and kind of run down motel. Breakfast was good and partially cook to order, but this place needs a serious remodel.

The staff was very friendly and nice. The pet area was pretty nice, but next to a busy road. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff is wonderful, they obviously love dogs and love to give them treats. The only drawback is the pet area behind the hotel is a very tiny bit of grass. But there is a great walking trail that goes for miles and you can access it from the rear parking lot.

From the moment we walked through the door it's been a negative experience. The front desk person refused my federal ID, insisting on a state issued license, and their credit card system kept refusing my card. Even though the problem was on their end, she wouldn't let me check in without an approval.
The room is nasty, smells funny, has absolutely nothing in it (dishes, coffee pot, pans, etc). The king bed had 3 tiny flat pillows that are barely enough for one person. We booked through BringFido to be sure we got a dog friendly room, but they put us at the far end of the hallway on the 3rd floor. Good thing we're only staying here for 2 nights, any longer and I would just go elsewhere. Don't waste your time or money, there are better hotels at around the same price nearby.
