Bravos California Fresh

Friends living in San Clemente suggested we meet them at Bravos for dinner. They knew we were bringing our pug, Laszlo, so we were looking forward to checking it out.

I’ve never seen a place with so many items on the menu. From the all day breakfast, lunch and dinner, to their friendly staff, this will definitely be a future stop when we visit the area again.

PS Since orders are taken inside the restaurant first, then delivered to the tables, I asked the manager if there were any accommodations for single diners traveling with dogs who couldn’t come inside to order. He told me that dog owners were welcome to call in an order ahead of time and then, upon entering the patio, call again to have their order delivered straight to their table. I thought that was a great idea!

Great Place for Relaxing

I can’t say enough positive things about this place. The hotel is a little gem found just a few minutes away from Downtown Palm Springs. It’s one of those iconic small old PS hotels that has been renovated just enough to embrace the culture of the period while adding today’s comforts, and kitschy enough as well to be fun. Laszlo the Pug had a great time hanging out there and so did his owners.

A great place for pets!

I think this is our 4th time at the Old Town Inn and it never disappoints. It’s in a somewhat industrial area but it comes across as a lush oasis, with all the beautiful garden spaces. They have a great selection of items at breakfast (the cooked oatmeal is my favorite). The rooms are well kept and the staff very friendly. I appreciate not having to pay for parking and the hotels’ proximity to not only Old Town San Diego but Liberty Station. It’s within easy driving distance to other popular tourist spots.

Casa de Fred’s in Old Town

We’d tried Fred’s on Cinco de Mayo in 2021 and it was packed with people and dogs, so this time we thought we’d come on a non-holiday. The food is still excellent and they still offer their own dog menu. The wait staff are very friendly and make dining a pleasure. I enjoyed a mango margarita along with my shrimp ceviche. All in all a great dining experience!

Great place!

The patio is large, the tables are set apart enough from each other to not get in someone else’s space, and it even offers a separate outdoor bar from the rest of the restaurant. The only downside are the planes flying right overhead as they take off, but they didn’t bother our dog and after awhile they seemed to become part of the background. On top of this, the drinks and food were excellent. Being a dill pickleholic I’d like to recommend the Stone Brewing Dillicious IPA.

This CPK has a great patio for dining with dogs!

We come here on a regular basis when we visit my mother-in-law and have Laszlo the Pug with us. The food is good and the staff are always on top of things. They have a large parking lot so parking isn’t a problem.

An Enjoyable Afternoon With Our Dog

The Tea House on Los Rios has one of the best tea settings around. They have several patio areas outside (one is covered) and gave us the option of choosing one of three tables that we thought would best accommodate our dog. It was a very enjoyable experience!

Great place to stay with a pooch!

This is a really nice hotel, located in a fairly upscale residential and business area. The clerk at the front desk told me every room is a dog-friendly room and every employee we met seemed to be dog-friendly too. There’s a gravel dog potty area next to the parking lot, as well as dog-friendly restaurants a short walk away. A complimentary breakfast buffet with just about everything imaginable is available every morning for eating-in or taking back to the room. My husband and I either took turns going to eat while the other stayed in the room with our dog, or made a breakfast plate for the other and brought it back.

Good Food and Nice Patio in Back

The staff were friendly and accommodating. Even thought the patio had a sign to enter in the front, we saw others go through the back gate to the patio (which is next to the parking lot). There are dog bowls available for water if you ask.

They do charge &3 for chips and salsa but that wasn’t a deal breaker for us. I ordered one of their lunch specials and my husband ordered breakfast. Both were excellent!

Hands down, the best restaurant for dogs!

This family-owned restaurant loves dogs! They have a wonderful covered patio in the back and their food is real down-home cooking. It was a great experience all around.

We Had A Great Time!

All three of us really enjoyed our stay at the Fireside Inn and our walks across the street on the boardwalk at Moonstone Beach. The accommodations were very nice. The town of Cambria is very dog friendly and Robin’s Restaurant on Burton is our favorite place to eat, under the covered patio-garden area. Many of the shop owners invited Rosie in to browse.

We’ve already signed up to return in March. Rosie can hardly wait!

Very Dog Friendly

This is a nice place to stay and just far enough away from the East Village area to be quiet. It has its own large yard that our Pug Rosie found interesting. The weekend we stayed it was sold out.

Super Dog Friendly Restaurant!

There were at least 6 other dogs of all sizes on the patio when we dropped in for lunch. The waiter brought us a bowl of water a few minutes after we sat down.

The food is fresh and delicious, and their margaritas are not to be missed!

Great Hotel For Dogs

We enjoyed our two night stay with Rosie the Pug at this historic hotel. There’s a dog friendly grassy spot out front with poop bags and the hotel’s restaurant, Enzo’s, is more than happy to accommodate take out orders if you want to eat in your room (we found out later we could have had a waiter serve us and Rosie at the game table in the lobby).

The area around the hotel is great for going on walks, including a railroad park across the street.

Great Dog-Friendly Place

This was within walking distance of the Glen Tavern Inn, where we were staying with our pug, Rosie. We enjoyed their Cajon breakfast and Rosie enjoyed the enclosed patio out front.

Improved!!!

My last review mentioned that there were no separate yards for small and large dogs. That’s no longer the case!!!

There are now separate areas (both fully inclosed) for small dogs and large dogs. The two separate areas are also surrounded by a very tall fence, but only on three sides. Down the road about 500 ft is a playground with restrooms.

There are poop stations, but no water. BYOB of it.
