Nothing special

Dogs are tolerated/allowed in the hotel but there’s nothing offered for them, no bed, no treat, no bowls or poop bags. The location is awesome, right on the beach but therefore there are crazy amounts of people crossing the hotel entry area to reach the beach and at night they go back home and are loud, lots are drunk. The hotel has a 4-star rating but I have no idea how they got that. It’s pretty run down. In Germany they probably would not get more than 2-3 stars.

There’s some damage at doors, wallpaper, everywhere. The room was clean, the beds okay. There was a little fridge and a safe. There is a water heater and some tea, decaf (no regular) coffee was offered, also no milk was offered. We didn’t book breakfast, so I can’t say anything about that. Checking in and out took at least 15 minutes. When I asked if there was a problem they said no. Why did it take so long?

Our check in was at around 8pm and we only got a room on the 2nd floor overlooking a huge construction site which was not mentioned on the hotel website. We were told that they didn’t have a better room cause we were checking in so late. So the hotel wasn’t anything I had expected and we spent as much time as possible being out of the room. Staff wasn’t overly friendly. Parking was crazy too, we have a hybrid so we were able to park on those special e-car parking places. People were parking like crazy and I wondered that no car was damaged. Would I stay again? Only if major renovations are done.

Dogs are not allowed, we had to leave!

They told us to leave, not even when you carry the dog you can get in!
