Took the dog for a romp at Jennings beach while on the road from NJ to MA in October. It was delightful.

Stopped here with my large dog while traveling to find a lovely park with a large, wooded area, friendly pups, and friendly people. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.

You can walk with your dog around the grounds and through the extensive and beautiful wooded sculpture area -- all with no admission cost! The dogs cannot enter the house, but my dog was welcome to come with me into the former stable house where the restrooms were located (which was really nice, since I was traveling alone).
