Owners Mike and Shelly were so friendly and interesting. They told us the stories behind their wines, including the two named after their farm dogs Uva and Philip. While we did a wine tasting, our pup was welcome to wander around the tasting room off-leash or enjoy any of the amenities provided: a bed, bowel of water, basket of toys, and treats. Outside he was intrigued to meet the horses.

Janet was welcoming to our pup and was an overall great guide. Shepherdstown is a cute and interesting place that is very dog friendly. I will say though that I am used to ghost tours mostly focusing on history and urban legend/myth, but this one went much deeper on the paranormal. That's not my thing, but others might really like that focus.
